# Create a FBT Report

# **Creating an FBT Report in Linxio**
Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) reports help you separate **business** and **private** travel, ensuring compliance with ATO requirements. Linxio makes this process easy with automated reporting.

## **Step 1 – Log In**
1. Go to [app.linxio.com](https://app.linxio.com?utm_source=chatgpt.com).
2. Enter your **username** and **password**.
3. Once logged in, you’ll see the **Dashboard**.

## **Step 2 – Open the Reports Menu**
1. On the left-hand sidebar, click **Reports**.
2. A list of available report types will appear.

## **Step 3 – Select the FBT Report**
1. Choose **FBT Report**.

## **Step 4 – Set Your Date Range**
1. At the top of the screen, select the **date range** you want.

## **Step 5 – Customize Report (Optional)**
1. Click the **pink gear icon** in the top-right corner.
2. Tick or untick the **columns** you want displayed:
    * Driver name
    * Trip start/end times
    * Distance travelled
3. Click **Save**.

## **Step 6 – Generate the Report**
1. Click **Generate / Run Report**.
2. Your report will display on screen.
3. You can now:
* Review the data directly in Linxio & update if its Work/Private if it the trip has not had a trip type.

* **Export** to PDF or CSV for further analysis



## ✅ Tips & Best Practices
* Make sure drivers **classify trips correctly** (business or private) to improve report accuracy.
* Use scheduled reports at **quarterly or yearly** intervals for FBT compliance.
