# How to create a notification/event log report

Linxio users are able to generate a report detailing any notifications or alarms set up prior that has been triggered on their platform for review.

To do this simply:

1. Log in to the Linxio platform.
2. Click on the **Events** module on the left-hand side list.
3. Click on the notification or alarm that has been set up prior. This will differ between customers on what notifications that have been set up.

We'll use the **Services due soon** notification underneath the **Service Reminders** category as the example.

5. Users can click on the **Date box** to select specific time ranges to view triggered alarms from those dates instead. Make sure to click on **Search** after selecting your dates.
6. Clicking on the **Setup notification** button on the top right is a shortcut allowing you to create that specific notification. See the **FAQ** section for more information.
7. Click on the pink **Settings** icon outlined by the yellow box to bring up a panel which you can manual download the report via CSV spreadsheet or adjust which data columns of the report are visible or hidden.
