Non-Rechargeable: AT12	Solar Powered / Rechargeable: AT12S
Designed to be in a deep sleep, and wake up at pre-set intervals to upload the current location. This model does not do live tracking of routes, but only uploads the location at the time of waking.Batteries for this model are replaceable and replacement batteries are at an additional cost of $35 each + GST.	Designed to track location in real-time, with a movement sensor able to report trips and stops just like a vehicle tracker. The reason this model is able to upload live and plot routes is because the battery is being constantly charged with the sun.This type of tracker requires at least 4 hours of sun per day to keep the internal battery charged, and can last up to 30 days with no sun.

Installation

Fixed/Screw-in Mount

Use 4 x screws to screw down the asset tracker, please mount the side with the red button facing up toward the sky with no metal covering the device, this will ensure the GPS module is facing the right way for optimal accuracy.

Magnetic Mount

If you have purchased the optional magnet mounting kit, then you can fit the magnets to the device and attach the device down to a metal surface, in addition to this, you can add silicon to so make sure the tracker does not fall off, please mount the side with the red button facing up toward the sky with no metal covering the device, this will ensure the GPS module is facing the right way for optimal accuracy.

Important note

Like all GPS tracking devices, the accuracy of the device depends on its mounting position, it is important to mount these devices in a position that is not obstructed by any metal. Ideally, mounting the device on the top or side of an asset will result in the best performance.
