Main unit installation Area

Disclaimer: Installation and mounting locations will differ due to the differences in make, model and type of vehicle. The below example pertains to a truck installation which is for your reference therefore, please consult with your auto-electrician/installer on a suitable mounting location that's considered legal, with minimal obstructions to your drivers and the camera. Main unit installations and mounting needs to take into consideration whether the sun visor obstructs the view of the camera when used by drivers.

Notes:

It is required that the main unit must be installed in the middle of the front windshield, close to area of the rear view mirror above the center-line of the front windshield

Please ensure that the installation of Dash camera does not cause the driver difficulties from viewing the front blind spot reflector, no obstructions (such as interior rear-view mirror or glass coating) within the field of view in front of and around the lens for cockpit monitoring and lens for road condition monitoring.

When reviewing footage, also ensure the gravel guard is not within view - or it's barely visible - as this will trigger the pedestrian collision warning.
