Remote Device Wake-up for Vision 3.0/Lite Dashcams
To remotely wake up the device, login into the FT Cloud web-based platform, refer to the below image and follow the instructions.

Login into the FT Cloud platform through your Linxio Portal, if you have troubles doing this refer to: https://kb.linxio.com/en/article/how-to-login-to-the-ft-cloud-dashcam-streaming-management-platform-kfzmiy/
From the left hand side click on the " Live View " Module and then " Vehicle Monitoring "
From the vehicle list, hover your mouse cursor over the desired device or named vehicle that is currently in " Sleep Mode " (indicated by the yellow circle) to display 3 additional options towards the right side of the device.
Hover your mouse cursor over the icon with the 3 dots and select the " Device wake-up " option
A message will pop-up to inform you that the wake up request was successful. It'll take around 1-2 minutes for the device for the device to back " Online " indicated by the green circle where you can view real-time video, view and clip historical footage from the SD card during this time which by default is set to 5 minutes.
The 5 minute timer is too short for me to do anything , can we increase this? On a case by case basis we are able to configure the cameras to remain in the " Online " status longer after a remote device wake-up however, please note that the caveat for increasing how long a camera remains active after being woken up will increase battery drain of your vehicle the device is wired and installed to.
I did the remote device wake-up but the device isn't going " Online " after 1-2 minutes. When remote device wake-up is used it, the platform communicates this request to the device and the speed of how fast this can be done is dependent on the signal strength and cell reception of where the vehicle is so at times there are slightly longer delays in doing this.
I cannot remotely wake up this device on my system, the status icon is " Grey ". Remote device wake-up is only applicable to devices that are in " Sleep Mode " as previously stated. A greyed out status icon indicates the device is offline due to a number of reasons which can include the following:
The vehicle has a battery isolator which cuts all power to all accessories connected to the vehicle when the switch is ON and its not being used.
The device has lost power
The device has power but is not connected nor reporting to the platform which may indicate a network issue in some cases.
