Wiring Reference for TR500-BLE

TR500 BLE Wiring Diagram for BMA Compliance (Handbrake, Seatbelt & Buzzer)

Installation

Power Setup:

• Connect the Red wire to a constant power source (battery or fuse box).

• Connect the Black wire to the vehicle’s chassis or another reliable ground.

• Connect the Orange wire to an ignition-switched power source (like the fuse for the radio or ignition system).

Seatbelt:

• Connect the Seatbelt connector wire to Wire 1 (Blue) of the TR500 BLE device.

Handbrake:

• Connector the handbrake wire to Wire 4 (Green) of the TR500 BLE device.

Buzzer:

• Connect the ground wire (Black) of the buzzer to Wire 5 (Yellow) of the TR500 device.
• Connect the constant power wire (Red) to direct power source or battery of vehicle/asset.
• Ensure Wire 8 (Red) of TR500 BLE is wired to the same direct constant power source as the buzzer.

Mounting Instructions:

• Install underneath the dashboard.

• Ensure the top side is facing right side up (to maintain GPS or signal reception).

• Avoid metal obstructions surrounding the tracker.
