TR500 BLE Immobilization Install

🚗 TR500 GPS Tracker Installation with Immobilizer

⚠️ WARNING:

• Only interrupt the engine starter wire.
• Do NOT connect to fuel pump or ignition system.
• This setup prevents the engine from being re-started, but does not kill a running engine.

📦 What You’ll Need:

📊 Tracker Wire Function Table:

🔌 Wiring Steps

🔴 1. Power the Tracker

• Red Wire → Connect to vehicle’s +12V or +24V power through a 2A fuse.
• Black Wire → Connect to a reliable ground point (vehicle chassis or battery negative).

🟠 2. Ignition Detection

• Orange Wire → Connect to the ACC wire of the vehicle’s ignition switch.
• • This lets the tracker detect when the vehicle is turned ON or OFF.

🟡 3. Relay Control Output

• Yellow Wire.
• • This wire activates the relay when the immobilizer function is triggered.

🔁 4. Relay Wiring (Standard 4-Pin Relay)

Note: The relay cuts the starter motor signal when activated, so the engine won't crank when someone tries to start it.

🟢 5. Starter Wire Cut

• Locate the starter motor wire.
• Cut the wire, and connect:
• • One end to Green
  • Other end Green

🧪 Before Testing Procedure

1. Please call our support team on 02 7908 5453 so we configure the Tracker

🧪 Testing Procedure:

1. Turn the key to ACC — verify the tracker powers up.
2. Start the engine normally — confirm it cranks and starts.
3. Send the immobilize command from the tracking app or platform.
4. Turn off the engine and try restarting — the engine should NOT crank.
5. Send the unlock command — the engine should start again.

📝 Notes:

• Do NOT wire the relay to fuel or ignition systems.
• This setup is designed to prevent re-start, not to kill a running engine.
• Always insulate and secure all connections to avoid shorts.
• Consult a professional installer if you're unsure.
