Introduction

Note: Some of the features mentioned in this article requires the Fleet Plus software plan.

Dual access Admin, Manager or standalone Driver users of the Linxio mobile application are able to categorise a vehicle's current or historical routes as either Work or Private trips for the purposes of FBT reporting.

Whilst Driver users are allocated to their selected vehicles, any routes they complete will be allocated under their name on the Routes by Vehicle & FBT report. for driver identification purposes.

Instructions

1. Log in to the Linxio Mobile App with driver permissions.
2. Follow the driver allocation to vehicle process here: https://kb.linxio.com/en/article/driver-allocation-to-vehicles-15x3i3v/
3. Once successful you’ll be re-directed to the dashboard for the allocated vehicle.
4. Drivers are able to swap their vehicle allocation via the dashboard by tapping on the outlined icon below:
5. The dashboard can be used to check the current status of the vehicle.

6. Tap the Routes module located on the bottom screen of your mobile device.
7. Trips for the current day will be displayed by default.
8. Users can tap on the arrow or calendar to search for previous trips when applicable.

3. To categorise your trip type simply tap on the green car icon denoting in-transit or travel time/kms.
4. From here you can tap to mark that current route as either Work or Private.
5. Additional notes can be added to provide further context or reasoning behind certain trips.
