How to archive or delete vehicle profiles

Users of the Linxio platform are able to manage their vehicle profiles by archiving or deleting said profiles from their platform depending on their use case and circumstances.

The option to archive these profiles is to temporarily making them hidden on your system as its currently not used or will be re-used in the future.

Deleting a vehicle profile completely removes it from your account and is considered the permanent option when vehicles are no longer needed i.e. written off, sold etc.

Instructions for archiving vehicle profiles

1. From the left hand menu, click on the Fleet icon.
2. Use the search bar to find the vehicle by its registration number (REGO) or vehicle name.
3. Scroll the page to the right to locate the Archive column and click on the downward arrow icon to archive.

Instructions for unarchiving vehicle profiles

4. In addition, users are able to Unarchive their profiles by simply clicking on show archived on the bottom of the Fleet tab.
5. Search for the vehicle that was previously archived and click on the upward arrow icon.
6. This will re-instate the vehicle profile to make it visible on the platform for tracking/reporting purposes once more.

Instructions for deleting vehicle profiles

PRECAUTION: The delete feature is only to be used if the users are absolutely certain the information associated with the vehicle and profile is no longer required.

1. From the left hand menu, click on the Fleet icon.
2. Use the search bar to find the vehicle by its registration number (REGO) or vehicle name.
3. Scroll the page to the right to locate the Delete column and click on the bin icon to permanently delete the vehicle profile.
