How to set vehicle Depots/Groups

This is a brief guide on how to set-up vehicle Depots and Groups.

Utilising this feature is helpful for:

Map View

Helps segregate the vehicle list
Reports

You can narrow down reports to specific vehicles located in Groups or at Depots
Permissions

Control what Users see what Vehicles easier than manual selection
Alerts/Notifications Inspection Forms

Set-up specific alerts for certain vehicles, set Inspection Forms to only be accessible for certain vehicles.


To create a group, first head over to Configuration (1), then select the Fleet tab (2):



From here, you can either add a vehicle to a Depot, or Group.



The difference between a Depot and Group - think of it like Depot is a Location, and a Group is a type of vehicle.

You can have multiple types of vehicles but only a single Depot.
