Linxio GPS – How to Add Users & Assign Keypad PINs

1. Add a User in Linxio

1. Log in to your Linxio dashboard.
2. Click the Configuration icon in the left-hand menu.
3. Select the Users tab.
4. Click Add New User.
5. Enter the required information:

• • First name
  • Last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Role / permissions

6. Click Save to create the user.

The user will now be able to log in and access the system depending on their permissions.

2. Assign a Keypad PIN to a User

For vehicles or systems using driver keypad login or driver ID PINs, you can assign a PIN to the driver profile.

Steps

1. Open Configuration.
2. Go to Users.
3. Select the driver you want to edit.
4. Enter a Driver PIN / Keypad PIN.
5. Click Save.

This PIN is what the driver enters on the vehicle keypad or driver ID system to identify themselves.

3. Linking Pins

• Contact Linxio Support on 02 7228 3501 so we can configure the trackers to link up t he Driver ID's to the Keypad.

Best Practice for PIN Setup

• Use 4–6 digit PINs that are easy for drivers to remember.
• Each driver should have a unique PIN.
• Avoid simple sequences like 1234.
• Keep a secure list of assigned driver PINs for fleet management.
