Routes not tracking/Constant "Idle" status

Device does not track routes

Current location works, but no routes

If the device is showing current location, but is not showing the historical routes on the map, then the device may be having trouble detecting when the vehicle ignition is on.

If the device is a hard-wired GPS tracker, check the wiring to the ignition wire, to make sure it is getting power when the engine is running, if not, this need to be fixed.

For reference, the Ignition wire on the TR500 is Orange:

Device not showing ignition status



Device is showing vehicle always as stopped, driving or idling

If the device is incorrectly showing the ignition status, for example: vehicle has its engine off, but on the platform, it says the engine is ON (or vise versa)

If the device is a hard-wired GPS tracker, check the wiring to the ignition wire, to make sure it is getting power when the engine is running, if not, this need to be fixed.

The device runs up to 60V, however ensure where appropriate the device is getting a CONSTANT 12V output (minimum) through the Red wire, the Device is properly Ground (black wire) and if necessary the correct wire is attached to ACC (ignition detection).
