Troubleshoot Linxio Trackers
SIM Deactivation Notice
Our SIMs automatically deactivate if there is no network usage (i.e., the device remains unpowered) for two months. If your device has been deactivated, please contact Support to reactivate it.
If your tracker is not working
- Check the vehicle or tracker. If you can access it, confirm that it has power and look for indicator lights when the vehicle starts. For a dashcam, check whether its lights turn on.
- Check the Linxio app or website to see whether the device is offline and whether routes or the current location are missing.
- Restart the tracker. Support may also remotely reboot the device, update its configuration, reset the SIM, or send a configuration command. Monitor the device after these changes; it may come back online.
- If the issue continues and you can safely access the device, disconnect it, remove the SIM card, clean it briefly, and reconnect everything.
- If the device may have been tampered with, or remains offline after these checks, contact Support and provide the vehicle registration or device IMEI. A technician visit can be arranged; the installation or technician fee is $180 per device plus GST.
