VX60 and Y Splitter (Concealment Kit)

The VX60 is a Plug n Play device that simply plugs into the Vehicle's OBD2 port.

If you are having trouble locating where the port is on your vehicle, please refer to your Vehicle Handbook, or simply Google "Vehicle Make/Model, Year + OBD2 Port".

Y Splitter cable installation (Concealment Kit)

There are 3 lines coming from the centre of the Y splitter cable. Holding the Splitter cable up by the "Arms", there are two arms that come from the middle, followed by a single "Tail" below.

To install a Y Splitter cable, first remove the vehicles OBD2 attachment from the plastic housing (note you may need to remove screws with a screwdriver to detach the port) - then, connect the VX60 to one of the "Arms", after connect the Tail into the now-free OBD2 port.

Once these are connected, check to ensure lights are flashing on the VX60, then place the "free" arm not connected to anything back where the OBD2 port once was. This now acts a bypass, and "conceals" the VX60 tracker and deters people from removing the device. It also acts a bypass for technicians to access the ECU.

Troubleshooting the VX60

If the VX60 has no lights at all.

Check that the OBD2 port is getting at least 12V power.
Check the fuse is not blown on the vehicles fuse box. If a fuse is blown, replace it and check again.
Disconnect the tracker from the OBD2 port, wait 1 minute, then reconnect.

LED lights are not solid after 5 minutes

Make sure the engine is on, and there is power going to the Device.
Make sure you are installing this device into a vehicle that is outside, and not inside a building that could block the GPS signal to the device.
Make sure the sim card is properly inserted.
If the above has not solved the issue, remove the sim card, wipe the contact with fabric, and reinsert it into the device.

If you have tried all the above steps and the device still does not have solid lights, please chat to the Linxio support team
